FESTIVAL REGISTRATION

Open to Youth and Adult Musicians

The High School and Middle School ensemble registration fee is $250 per ensemble. Schools are encouraged to bring up to 25 attendees (students and adults) with each ensemble registration. Everyone is invited to bring instruments and participate in the workshops and festival activities even if they're not performing with an ensemble. If your school has more than 25 who would like to attend, let us know and we will try to accommodate them.

Members of the public who would like to participate in the workshops or enjoy the performances can purchase a day pass for $25.

Jazz Festival Schedule

2020 EDUCATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL

March 19 & 20 - Saint Kate Arts Hotel

The festival will feature members of Milwaukee’s all-star jazz group We Six (David Bayles, Scott Burns, Mark Davis, Jeff Hamann, Eric Jacobson, Paul Silbergleit) along with other top jazz musicians and educators including Chris Crain, Manty Ellis, Kevin Hayden, Alan Harris, Curt Hanrahan, Bony Plog-Benavides, Darren Sterud, and Donna Woodall.

STUDENT EMSEMBLE SPACE IS LIMITED

We're excited to have 15 school ensembles already registered to attend. High school and middle school jazz combos and big bands will have the opportunity to perform, receive feedback, and compete for awards. The fee for each participating ensemble is $250. Schools are encouraged to bring up to 25 attendees (students and adults) with each ensemble registration. Schools and students are also invited to join us even if they choose not to compete - contact us to learn how to register to attend.

Workshops and professional performances will be offered throughout the day.  Everyone is invited to bring instruments and participate in the workshops and festival activities even if they're not performing with an ensemble. If your school has more than 25 students who would like to attend, let us know and we will try to accommodate them.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC - PURCHASE A DAY PASS!

All are welcome, whether a musician or a listener. Members of the public who would like to participate in the workshops or enjoy the performances can purchase a day pass for $25.
