Something Different

Something Different, located at 5666 North Teutonia Avenue, featured jazz from 1987 into the early 1990s. The owner, Patricia Harmon, had previously operated a club at the same location called Patricia’s Lounge, which was open from 1979 to 1984 and also presented jazz. In 1987, she reopened the venue under the name Something Different. The club showcased performances by artists such as Berkeley Fudge, Melvin Rhyne, Manty Ellis, Robert Grimwood, Jo Ann Tardy, and Vince Davis.
