Jazz Den

The Jazz Den, located at 3967 N. Teutonia Avenue, initially featured recorded jazz music, but in the late 1970s it began presenting live jazz, including the quartet Spiral, featuring saxophonist Rolla Armstead and drummer Ken Baldwin. According to The Milwaukee Journal, the group played “straight-ahead jazz and a bit of funk.”
