Circle Room

The Circle Room was a cocktail lounge and music venue in the LaSalle Hotel, located at 1111 West Wells Street. In 1946, the Nat King Cole Trio performed there. The evening of music, broadcast on the radio, was recorded and in 1999 was released as a Nat King Cole album titled Live at the Circle Room. The hotel was later purchased by Marquette University and converted into a student dormitory, Cobeen Hall.
