JAZZ MEETS BACH - ENTER TO WIN A PAIR OF TICKETS

Our friends at Bel Canto are excited to present Jazz Meets Bach on Sunday, October 15, at 3:00 pm. Bel Canto, a fellow UPAF organization, has generously provided MJI with a pair of tickets to give away to a lucky MJI subscriber and supporter!

For a chance to win a pair of tickets, use the ticket checkout below. Deadline to enter is 3:00 PM Friday, October 13. Notification of the winners will be sent at 4:00 PM on October 13 to all who enter. Tickets will be held at the box office.

Experience the rhythmic language of dance beats and improvisational styles that glue three centuries of music together. This musical exploration of the many connections between Baroque music and jazz includes a fusion of arrangements from Ward Swingle followed by J.S. Bach’s motet Jesu, meine Freude. The concert ends with a performance of Will Todd’s Mass in Blue, featuring soprano soloist Wendelin Lockett and pianist Michelle Hynson.
