THE MUSIC OF MILES DAVIS Enjoy a tour through classic recordings of Miles Davis in the company of fellow listeners, with the guidance of MJI’s Paul Silbergleit, while seated at a classy jazz venue.
Learn about the artistic output of Miles Davis (1926-1991), an iconic trumpeter and bandleader whose career spanned an amazing cross-section of twentieth-century jazz, often setting the tone for the direction of the whole genre.
Cost: $15
Includes admission to the 8 p.m. performance, in which Paul joins the Eric Jacobson Trio to play the repertoire explored in the workshop.
Attendees under 21 must be accompanied by a parent.
