Selected through a competitive recorded submission process, MJI’s “A” Train Ensemble has been invited, for the second year in a row, to compete in the Charles Mingus Festival & High School Competition in New York City this February. The “A” Train Ensemble was selected as one of only three schools nationwide in the Specialized School Category of this prestigious competition.
