MJI PRESENTS: WE SIX
From hard bop to world beats, original compositions to soulful standards, MJI’s resident ensemble We Six explores the full range of jazz in its straight-ahead style. A consistent favorite at festivals and clubs, the group has appeared in concert with jazz luminaries such as Benny Golson, Phil Woods, and Brian Lynch. Now in its 25th year, We Six returns with a new lineup featuring Juli Wood on tenor saxophone and Gabriel Wade on trumpet alongside original members Mark Davis on piano, Paul Silbergleit on guitar, Jeff Hamann on bass, and Dave Bayles on drums.
