MILWAUKEE JAZZ INSTITUTE BIG BAND HOLIDAY CONCERT
The MJI (Milwaukee Jazz Institute) Big Band, under the musical direction of Jason Gillette, will swing their way into the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for two holiday shows (1:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.) on Wednesday, December 20th.
Get into the spirit of the season with this uplifting program of soulful and swingin' big band jazz versions of holiday classics. Come witness this spectacular 17-piece band composed of the region's top jazz artists as they perform arrangements by legends such as Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Maynard Ferguson, Ella Fitzgerald, and Gordon Goodwin.
