INSIDE THE TUNE: "UP JUMPED SPRING"

ONLINE WORKSHOP WITH MARCYA DANEILLE AND ERIC JACOBSON

Delve inside “Up Jumped Spring,” a jazz composition by trumpeter Freddie Hubbard with lyrics by vocalist Abbey Lincoln. Play or sing along as Marcya Daneille and Eric Jacobson explore this classic and provide tips on interpreting the melody and improvising over the form.

Cost: $15

Attendees need to purchase advance tickets. Attendees will receive a link and instructions an hour prior to the event to allow easy access to the workshop from a computer, tablet, or smartphone via Zoom Video Conferencing. Registration is open until 15 minutes before the start of the workshop. Links will be sent promptly to those who sign up just prior to the start time. (Be sure to check your SPAM/JUNK if you don't find a message in your inbox.)
