CHUCK LAPAGLIA JAZZ FILM SERIES: CHASING TRANE
Join us for the kickoff event of the Jazz Gallery's new Chuck LaPaglia Jazz Film Series on Thursday, September 18th, from 6:00-9:30 pm! This kickoff event will feature a screening of "Chasing Trane: The John Coltrane Documentary," as well as a discussion with director/writer John Scheinfeld and a performance by the UWM Jazz Combo under the direction of Dave Bayles.
“Chasing Trane” will be the first in a monthly series of jazz-related movies at the JGCA; each screening will include a live performance by a local college or professional jazz combo playing tunes related to the featured film.
